EXCELLENTVerified Incredible diving with incredible people What an incredible time I had diving with Diwa Dominicana. I was there for 10 days and did my Rescue diving course there along with some fun dives. They were very patient and extremely knowledgeable. The whole team is very friendly, helpful and welcoming! The centre and equipment is in excellent condition. Would 100% recommend diving with these guys and will definitely be going back. One of us did the OWD Certification with Chichi and it was great. Chichi is an amazing guy, very patient and lots of fun! He speaks multiple languages (Spanish, English, France, German…. ) He is calm and is giving clear instructions in the water. The dive center in very good shape and has everything needed. The equipment is very new. Chichi is a really nice guy who speaks a lot of languages (English, french, Spanish, German ...). He is calm and gives clear instructions in the water. The service is incredible!Verified Great Dive Centre @ Bachata I was on holiday at the Bachata Resort in the Dominican Republic and went diving with Chichi and crew. This has to be by far the best dive centre I have ever dived with. The dives were brilliant, the staff were first class and were amazingly helpful, I would not hesitate to recommend this centre to anyone who wishes to go explore the reefs of Puerto Plata, this is the place to go :-) Thanks Chichi and team from Kevin & André (UK)Verified Excellent Scuba Diving Shop Amazing Dive Shop. Matthew answered all our questions by e-mail before the trip. Always replied quickly and provided a lot of information. We used PayPal for the payment. Me and my boyfriend did a Open Water Scuba Certification. Chichi and Nemo were amazing teachers. Chichi tooks the time to explain everything and make sure we were confortable with all the exercice. They organized transportation to and from our resort. They were also acomonding because I was sick one of the day we were supposed to dive and they were able to resheduled us.The dive sites in Sosua were very nice. We saw a lot of fish and Chichi was always pointing to us the nicest things to look at. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. Happy I booked with them. Very personalized service.Verified EXCEPTIONAL Service I cannot begin to explain the level of service and professionalism I received from this company. They were more than willing to cater to the uncertain timing of the cruise ship coming into port and when I got there, Nemo (dive master) did everything he could to make my dive as wonderful and special as he could. He asked what I liked in a dive to try to cater the experience, as much as sea life will allow for that sort of thing, and he was very attentive and concerned that I was enjoying myself the whole time. The spot where you launch from and the shop are a short 20 minute drive from the shop and, honestly, the comfort of riding in A/C for 20 minutes to have a 5-7 minute boat ride to the dive site was really sweet. In the Florida Keys, almost everything is 20-30 minute boat ride away so this was spectacular. He set up my equipment, brought waters for between dives, and because the dive site is so close to shore, we did surface interval on land and chilled on the beach for a while. Nemo’s English is amazing and his attention to detail flawless. They even dropped me back off at the ship afterward so that I didn’t need to pay cab fare twice. I met Chi Chi (manager) later and he was also very kind, generous, concerned about service and meeting the needs of his clients. Even to the point of finding a way to return some personal dive equipment to a previous customer who left his equipment in the DR. I would highly recommend this group to anyone and PLEASE tip generously. These people work hard for their money to give us the best dive experience we can have and deserve at least that much. A little bit to a tourist can mean a great deal to a local.
